when is the wedding?

The wedding will take place in the Fall of 2026 - likely the week of Thanksgiving. Once finalized, dates and other details will be given in your RSVP link and the "Hotel & Travel" section of the website.

Where is the wedding?

The wedding ceremony and reception will take place in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Hotel information will be detailed in the "Hotel & Travel" section of the website once finalized.

do i need a passport?

Yes! In order to internationally travel to Jamaica you will need a valid and current passport. Passports that will expire within 6 (six) months of your trip will likely not be accepted for international travel. Please check your passport expiration date as soon as possible to allow for what will likely be extended processing time delays if you do need to renew. If you do not have a passport, it is strongly suggested that you begin/submit your application now to allow for what will likely be extended processing time delays.

Will the resort be family friendly?

Yes! The resort will be family friendly. Once finalized, resort details will be in the "Hotel & Travel" section of the website.

can i bring a guest/date?

We welcome you to bring a guest to accompany you on the trip! If you would like to bring a guest/date to the wedding ceremony and/or reception please make a request first via the wedding coordinator at islelandvibes@gmail.com.

are children allowed to the ceremony & reception?

Yes! Children are welcome for both events! Your RSVP will allow you to indicate if you are choosing to bring your children to one or both events.

where will the ceremony take place?

Weather/conditions permitting, the ceremony will be an outdoor beach sunset event on the resort property. Toes will be in the sand so get those pedicures ready ladies and gentleman!

can i take pictures during the wedding ceremony?

There will be professional photographers and videographers during the ceremony. So sit back, relax, UNPLUG and be engaged in the moment with us!

can i take pictures during the reception?

You are welcome to take your own pictures and short videos during the reception - there will be a special QR Code provided so you can share your shots with bride & groom! We do ask that you please avoid interfering with the work and directions of the professional videographer/photographer. Please no professional cameras/lighting.

is there a dress code?

This will be a beach wedding so feel free to break out your summer time best: linen ensembles, seersucker fits, floral maxi dresses - the possibilities are endless ! This will not be a formal event but come dressed to impress! Please refrain from leggings, t-shirts, jeans, basketball shorts, swimsuits, or swim outfits. what are the wedding colors?

The bridal party will be dressed in the solid color families of blue, oat, and pink.

Any colors that i should avoid wearing?

We ask that you avoid wearing colors traditionally reserved for the bride - white, ivory and cream.

how do i rsvp?

You will RSVP here on the website under the "RSVP" section once available. Once you have submitted your RSVP, you will also need to reach out to the Travel Agency to arrange for your hotel and/or flight reservations. Travel Agency contact info can be found under the "Hotel & Travel" section of the website once updated.

when should i finalize my rsvp by?

RSVP finalization dates will be detailed here, in your RSVP link and on the "Hotel & Travel" section of the website once finalized. Final RSVP dates will be STRICTLY ENFORCED to allow for adequate time to complete any pre-arranged payment plans via the Travel Agency.

i have dietary restrictions, how can i tell you what they are?

There will be a section in your RSVP link for you to detail the dietary restrictions for each member of your party.

Is there a gift registry?

Your presence is the best gift! But, if you feel inclined to give more, you can contribute to our home-fund, located under the "Registry" section on the website.

how can i share my photos/videos with the bride & groom?

We would LOVE to see all the adventures (and shenanigans!) that you will get into while you are celebrating the island of Jamaica! A special QR code for uploads/sharing will be provided soon!

can i share my photos/videos from the reception on social media?

We respectfully request you to NOT share any photo and/or video on social media until the couple choose to share first.

What if i cannot make the trip?

We are sorry that you cannot make it - your presence will be missed! But, don't worry! - there will be a Post-Wedding Celebration Event (date TBD) in the Boston area to celebrate with our friends and family that could not join us on the island. Just let us know in your RSVP link what you are able to attend!

Where & when is the Post-Wedding Celebration Event?

The Post-Wedding Celebration event will take place in the Boston area. A separate invitation will be sent once date and details are finalized.
